PILATEX supports the educational journey of craftsmen’s children in order to promote equal opportunities and facilitate their professional integration. Because work and success deserve recognition, the company has put in place, in addition to the study scholarship initiated in 2012, a merit scholarship program. Created in 2014, this excellence scholarship aims to distinguish and reward the children of craftsmen who have brilliantly passed official examinations (BEPC and Baccalaureate).
Merit scholarship to recognize academic achievement
In its commitment to inclusive education, PILATEX considers the academic success of its craftsmen’s children as a priority to be supported. The LEARN program thus provides for the award of merit scholarships, in various forms, in favor of those who have distinguished themselves in official examinations.
Every year, the most deserving students receive educational books, computer equipment and financial support to ensure the continuity and success of their journey.
This program covers two key levels of the Malagasy education system:
- the Certificate : students who have successfully obtained their diploma receive academic books and a financial grant as a reward;
- Baccalaureate : students who excelled and obtained a distinction are rewarded with computers as well as a financial prize, and students admitted to official examinations are honored with educational books in addition to financial encouragement.
A moment of pride, but also of projection for future students and their families.
The merit scholarships illustrate the commitment of PILATEX to supporting the education of craftsmen’s children, convinced that their academic success is an investment for a better future.
